The given task was to model a chair from scratch in order to showcase our 3D knowledge.
 The chair also needed to consist of at least two completely different materials. 
 
The client asked for an overview image and some detail images in a studio environment, as well as an advertisement piece including typography. The images below showcases my attempt at modeling and texturing The Wire Chair designed by Charles and Ray Eames. 
I choose to model the variant DKW-2 with a black leather seat and back padding in combination with dark maple wooden legs.
